Pakistani fan rushes to New York hotel to get a glimpse of Shah Rukh Khan before Met Gala debut: 'Love of my life, my entire dil — King Khan'

A Pakistani-origin food content creator living in New York is stealing the spotlight online with a video she uploaded after being unable to contain her excitement upon meeting Shah Rukh Khan following his Met Gala 2025 debut. She also shared glimpses of Sidharth Malhotra and Sabyasachi Mukherjee after the event.

The social media influencer, Sehrish, who regularly shares her culinary adventures online, posted a vlog titled, “Come with me to find Shah Rukh Khan in NYC.” She was seen walking near the hotel close to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, where the stars were arriving for the grand fashion event.

Fans and media personnel had gathered in front of the hotel, and she first spotted Sidharth Malhotra, whom she affectionately called a ‘cutie’ in the video. She was thrilled when he gave her subtle eye contact. She also shared visuals of the red carpet laid out for the celebrities.



Sabyasachi, who designed Shah Rukh Khan’s outfit for his Met Gala debut, was seen exiting the hotel.

Soon, Shah Rukh Khan emerged to loud cheers, instantly surrounded by fans. “Love of my life, light of my life, my entire dil — King Khan,” she wrote emotionally as the star waved to his admirers.

She added a caption to her vlog: “I found him, he looked so good! My inner child is so happy.” The video struck a chord online, quickly amassing 2.7 million views and attracting enthusiastic comments from fellow fans. Many expressed envy that she was able to locate the hotel and see him in person.

One piece of footage from the Met Gala red carpet showed Shah Rukh Khan introducing himself to media personnel. Dressed in a regal black suit, accessorised with layered necklaces and a cane topped with a tiger head, he made a striking impression at the global fashion event.
