Competition rather than rivalry sparks film idea
When asked if it was rivalry or competition, Nihlani elaborated that it was competition. He disclosed what he did after Govinda and Chunky left his house. He recalled that as soon as they left, around 5 or 5:15 AM, he was trying to sleep but their suggestion kept coming to his mind. At that moment, he got an idea for a film about a father having two useless sons, thinking something like that would work.
Present relationship with Govinda and reflections on friendship
Talking about his present relationship with Govinda, Nihlani said there was never friendship between them, but Govinda respects him. He continued that the little friendship they had was more like personal sharing during the time of Rangeela, adding that he had changed himself as a youngster.
