Sanjay Leela Bhansali's next titled 'Padmavati' is about to unfold right before your eyes. The little over three-minutes trailer sees the larger than life story of Rani Padmini fondly known as
Padmavati. Deepika, who features in the establishing shot of the film does complete justice to her character and oozes charm and royal elegance. Shahid, on the other hand, looks ethereal as Rajput Raja Maharawal Ratan Singh and
Ranveer Singh aka Sultan Alauddin Khilji makes his grand entry and shows flashes of absolute brilliance. The trio has immersed themselves thoroughly in their characters in the upcoming magnum opus that doesn't fall short of jaw-dropping moments.
The film that has been in the news ever since the auteur started filming it as it became the subject of violence and vandalizing by the fringe outfit Rajput Karni Sena earlier this year. The film has also been in the headlines for the extensive mystique surrounding the protagonists and their looks in the film.
