The makers of 'PadMan' recently revealed a new motion poster from the film featuring
Akshay Kumar and
Sonam Kapoor and captioned it, "Naam se #PadMan, kaam se SUPERHERO! ". The video clip has a voice over by Akki and Sonam where the latter teaches the actor to pronounce, "P-A-D M-A-N"
‘Padman’ will be produced by Akki's wife
Twinkle Khanna, making it her maiden production venture and is helmed by R Balki. Both Sonam and
Radhika Apte will play important roles in the film.
Interestingly, Twinkle had mentioned about the story of the real 'Padman' aka
Arunachalam
in her short story titled ‘The Sanitary Man from A Sacred Land’ in her second novel ‘The Legend of Lakshmi Prasad’.
The highly anticipated film will soon hit theatre screens on January 26, 2018.
