'Paap’ clocks 20 years: When Udita Goswami was surprised by modest compensation for the film
As ‘Paap’ marked its 20th anniversary on January 30, Udita Goswami, who played a pivotal role in the film, shared some interesting insights about her journey in the industry and the significant switch from acting to DJing.
In a candid conversation with Bollywood Hungama, Udita Goswami revealed that she contemplated returning to modelling after her acting stint, questioning why she entered the field when she wasn't enjoying it. However, due to the perception of going backward in her career, she hesitated to make the move. Despite these thoughts, she acknowledged the lucrative nature of her modelling career, earning substantial amounts for one-day shoots.
Directed by Pooja Bhatt, ‘Paap’ is a 2003 crime thriller featuring John Abraham, Udita Goswami, Gulshan Grover, and Mohan Agashe.
