In a dramatic turn of events, social media figure Orry endured a grueling seven-hour interrogation by the Anti-Narcotics Cell of Mumbai Police as they probe into a drug case. He firmly denied any wrongdoing, insisting his only motive for attending parties is to snap some photos.
Social media influencer Orhan Awatramani, better known as Orry, was seen making an appearance before the Mumbai Police’s Anti-Narcotics Cell on Wednesday. His spotting came after he was summoned by the police for questioning in connection with an ongoing drugs investigation. Officials told IANS that the influencer was questioned for more than seven hours, however, he reportedly did not cooperate during interrogation and “did not reveal much”. As per reports by India Today, investigators claimed he repeatedly denied any involvement in drug consumption or knowledge of drug use at the parties he attends.

Orry questioned for 7 hours

He allegedly told officials that he attends several events in India and abroad and that he cannot recall who was present or what transpired at each gathering. The report states that Orry insisted he is invited to parties solely to take photographs with celebrities and post it online.Orry also reportedly denied any connection to key accused Alishah Parkar and maintained that he has no links to any drug supply chain.

Orry may be called in for questioning again

With officials reportedly dissatisfied with his responses, authorities say he may be summoned again for further questioning.This is not the first time Orry has landed himself in legal trouble.
He was among several individuals named in an FIR lodged on March 15 by Katra police for allegedly consuming alcohol at a hotel in Katra. As per a press release from the Jammu and Kashmir Police, "Taking cognizance of the complaint regarding an issue involving certain guests who were staying at Hotel of Katra and found taking Alcohol, Katra police has lodged an FIR on March 15 against Orhan Awatramani (ORRY), Darshan Singh, Parth Raina, Ritick Singh, Rashi Dutta, Rakshita Bhogal, Shagun Kohli, and Anastasila Arzamaskina, who consumed alcohol in hotel premises despite being told that alcohol and non-vegitarian diet is not allowed inside Cottage Suite as it is strictly prohibited at such a divine place of Mata vaishnodevi pilgrimage."

Shraddha's brother Siddhant's legal battle

Meanwhile, actor Siddhant Kapoor, brother of actress Shraddha Kapoor, was also questioned for nearly five hours. Police say he, too, was “not cooperating.” Investigators noted he was carrying a new mobile phone; when asked, Siddhant claimed his previous phone had broken and that he purchased a replacement two days earlier.
