Only a few films show Delhi as it is, says Dilbagh Singh

Dilbagh Singh is soon going to make his debut as an actor in

Bollywood

and is shooting in Delhi for the same. "It is a Delhi-based comedy, and we have been shooting for it in west Delhi," says Dilbagh. He adds that out of multiple films shot in Delhi, there are only a few which present the capital and its people as they are, "without exaggerating anything."

One such film, he says, is

'Fukrey'

. "Films mein Dilli ke logon ko kuch zyada hi Punjabi dikha dete hain. Yahaan ke log bhi normal logon ki tarah hi hote hain. ki galiyon ke bahut chakkar lagaye hain cycle pe. I was in school then, and my girlfriend used to stay there. Ek din uski gali ke ladkon ne bhi pakad liya tha, poochha kya karne aata hai roz yahan, I told them that I take tuition classes there, but they knew the truth. Chakkar kaatna break-up ke baad band hua," he says.
