Raja Mahesh, assistant of Annakili fame R Selvaraj, is all set to begin his stint as a director. His maiden venture Thambivudaiyan revolves around the Kaveri river issue. The film is set in Thanjavur and talks about the Kaveri problem in detail. It also conveys the message that if you strongly fight for the water, youll get it. I have extensively covered every aspect of the problem, says the director.
The film introduces Aditya Anbu, a visual communication student from Loyola College, and Manisha Chatterjee, who acted in the Hindi flick World Cup 2011 in the lead roles.
It must have been an easy foray for the lead actor as he plays a college student in the film! Also starring are Nizhalgal Ravi, Kadhal Dandapani, Charu Haasan, Jeeva, Vanitha and Sundari. The shooting of the film is over and is scheduled for a Pongal release.
