in Pakistan also as there is nothing objectionable in the movie. The film is based on Sarabjit Singh, an Indian national who died following an assault by fellow prisoners at a Pakistani jail. "We are sending the film to them for their Censor Board. There is nothing objectionable in the film. We would like it to release everywhere. We have just told the facts and these are from both sides, India as well as Pakistan," Omung told PTI.

    The film stars Randeep Hooda in the titular role of the Indian convict, who was convicted of terrorism and spying by a Pakistani court. Omung, who previously directed 'Mary Kom', wants the Pakistan Censor Board to watch the film and then take a call. "Once they see the film it will be clear to them. Without seeing the film anybody can say it's a wrong thing. They should see the film and take a judgement on it," he said. Scheduled to release on May 20, the film stars Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, as Sarabjit's sister Dalbir Kaur, Richa Chadha, Darshan Kumar among others.
