Actor
Omkar Kapoor has been a child actor for most part of his professional life. He was a popular face in the movies back in the 1990s. After a promising start in 2015’s ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2’, the actor has been missing in action on the big screen. Omkar, who celebrated his birthday on October 31, will soon be seen in not one but two films, both of which feature him in central characters with plenty of scope for displaying his acting chops.
However, none of the films have been backed by his mentor,
Luv Ranjan.
When asked if he has been seeking professional advice from him for his next big move, Omkar says, “Luv sir has been a great mentor. And he firmly believes and insists that people should always make their own decisions. I follow everything he says and I follow this, too. The films that I have taken on, which will open sometime next year, have all been my own, instinctive decisions.”
Talking about his recent birthday celebrations, Omkar says, “I have enjoyed my day thoroughly. I had my family and a few close friends over. There was nothing fancy about the day. We just decided to chill together because I was in Kolkata for a few days for a professional commitment. So, we decided to just catch up with each other. I got a lot of cakes from my friends and well-wishers but I think the best gift for me is my family that loves me unconditionally. They are always with me, come what may.”
