However, she is getting to play a girl only now. In Kasamh Se, she will play Jai (Ram Kapoor) and Bani’s (Prachi Desai) daughter, Ganga. It’s a crucial role as the child becomes a cementing factor in Jai Walia and Bani’s troubled marriage.
We tried to get in touch with Ahsaas but since she does not carry a cell phone we spoke to her mother, Kuldeep Channa instead. Says Kuldeep, “Yes, my daughter Ahsaas has always been playing a boy in films and commercials. Now, for the first time she will play a girl, Bani and Jai Walia’s daughter who paves the way for a new beginning in their marital life.”
Ahsaas has started shooting for the serial and is a favourite on the sets of Kasamh Se. Ram Kapoor, who is known to be a gadget-freak is often spotted giving her quick lessons on gadgets. Prachi too, spends a lot of time with the Ahsaas.
Kuldeep says, “Ram is very fond of Ahsaas. Prachi, who plays a bahu in the show is actually a teenager. Whenever she is with Ahsaas, she becomes a kid. They are both very protective towards her.”
