Producer Ekta Kapoor had announced her ambitious project, 'KTina' in 2019 with Disha Patani starring in it. The actress was seen wearing many rings in this announcement video saying that the astrologer had told her. It gave all the Ekta Kapoor's vibes with of course, her obsession with the the alphabet K.
But there were rumours that the film was shelved. Now as per a report in Pinkvilla, the makers have decided to revive the project because it is a special film for Ekta but Disha Patani won't be a part of it. Raaj Shandiliyaa was supposed to collaborate with Kapoor for the project. Now as per this report, the film is back on track as Ananya Panday and Nushrratt Bharuccha have been approached for it. The makers will work on the schedule once the cast is locked, since earlier the shoot had suffered and gone haywire due to the pandemic.
Panday is working with Ekta in 'Dream Girl 2' while Nushrratt and Raaj have a long association with 'Dream Girl' and then 'Janhit Mein Jaari' on which he was a producer.
As far as other projects are concerned, Nushrratt has other biggies like 'Ram Setu' and 'Selfie' with Akshay Kumar lined up while Ananya will be seen in 'Kho Gaye Hum Kahan' where she teams up again with Siddhant Chaturvedi. Adarsh Gourav is also a part of the project.
At the moment though, Ekta is gearing up for the release of 'Goodbye' starring Amitabh Bachchan and Rashmika Mandanna.
