As 2014 comes to a close, we look at the releases our stars have lined up ahead

For starters, Salman Khan has already booked the two coveted holi days for his next two releases -Eid for Kabir Khan's 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' with Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diwali for Sooraj Barjatya's 'Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo' with Sonam Kapoor. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan has reserved the Independence Day weekend for his next, 'Fan'. Akshay Kumar continues his multiple releases, starting with Neeraj Pandey's 'Baby' on January 23, to make the most of the Republic Day weekend.

His next, 'Gabbar', produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, is scheduled for April 3, followed by Karan Malhotra's 'Brothers' on July 31. Buzz is that the superstar's new production, Singh Is Bling, helmed by Prabhudheva might not make it to the theaters on October 2, as announced.

After no show this year, Ranbir Kapoor has four releases next year. However, he will open his 2015 account on February 13 with a special appearance in 'Roy', starring Arjun Rampal and Jacqueline Fernandez in a double role. With Anurag Kashyap's 'Bombay Velvet' co-starring Anushka Sharma on May 15, Anurag Basu's 'Jagga Jasoos' co-starring girlfriend Katrina Kaif on August 28 and buddy director Imtiaz Ali's 'Tamasha' co-starring Deepika Padukone on December 25, the heartthrob is optimistic of ending 2015 on a high note.
Amitabh Bachchan and Emraan Hashmi have three releases each. While Big B has R Balki's 'Shamitabh' (February 6), Shoojit Sircar's 'Piku' (April 30) and Bejoy Nambiar's 'Wazir', Emi has Danis Tanovic's 'Tigers' (March 6), 'Mr X' (April 17) and Mohit Suri's 'Hamari Adhuri Kahani' (June 12).
Farhan Akhtar has two releases next year -sister Zoya Akhtar's Dil Dhadakne Do on June 5 and Wazir with Big B. Apart from Dil Dhadakne Do, in which he plays Priyanka Chopra's brother, Ranveer Singh will also be seen as her husband in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's December 25 release, Bajirao Mastani, co-starring girlfriend Deepika Padukone as Mastani.
John Abraham, missing from cinemas this year, has Anees Bazmee's multistarrer comedy , Welcome Back on May 29. Besides, he also has his next production, Rocky Handsome, directed by Nishikant Kamat and co-starring Shruti Haasan.

Saif Ali Khan returns to the spy thriller genre in Kabir Khan's Phantom, with Katrina, scheduled to release April 3. After some successful multi-starrers, Abhishek Bachchan has a solo release in Umesh Shukla's All Is Well (July 3).
The remaining space is filled by the fast upcoming gen next stars. First up is Arjun Kapoor with Sonakshi Sinha in 'Tevar', on January 9. Varun Dhawan forays into a dark, revengeful avatar in Sriram Raghavan's 'Badlapur' (February 20). Later, he gets back into his dancing shoes for Remo D'Souza's 'ABCD 2' (June 26). His fellow student Sidharth Malhotra has a sole release in 'Brothers'. So do Shahid Kapoor (Shaandaar) and Imran Khan (Katti Batti).
Like Ranbir Kapoor this year, Ajay Devgn and Hrithik Roshan will have no show in 2015. While Ajay will be pre-occupied with his second directorial venture, Shivaay, Hrithik will be busy with Ashutosh Gowariker's period love story , Mohenjo Daro.
