Now a love story on backdrop of rail mafia - 'Meerut Junction'

Director of Sanjay Dutt - Vivek Oberoi starrer 'Zilla Ghaziabad', Anand Kumar will be directing a film on rail mafia next - 'Meerut Junction'.
Director Anand Kumar has been in the news recently for his next big venture Zilla Ghaziabad starring Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi and Vivek Oberoi in lead roles. And even before the filmmaker is through with his present project, he has signed to direct another film titled Meerut Junction.
"Meerut Junction is a rustic love story on the backdrop of rail mafia in the country", says a source closely associated with the film. "Inspired by real life incidents, the film would be produced by Saurabh Varma and Tripur Singh who have been in senior positions in the corporate world and are now venturing into film production". The script is written by the writer of Zilla Ghaziabad, Vinay Sharma.
Says Tripur Singh, "Meerut Junction is a quirky love story with a very unique storyline. A subject which will attract all from 15 to 80 years of age group". Saurabh Varma adds, "Our vision was very clear. We wanted a film that would be real with a gripping story and entertainer too. The script is so unique that it will attract the classes and masses alike."
The preproduction for the film is on and Meerut Junction is slated to go on floors in March 2012.
