Now, a biopic on Shiney Ahuja’s life?

He might have been part of very few films, but actor Shiney Ahuja had impressed everyone with his acting chops in movies like ‘Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi’, ‘Gangster’ and ‘Life In A...Metro’. It looked like he will make it big in Bollywood, when his career came to a sudden standstill after his domestic help accused him of raping her.
The survivor had alleged that on occasions when they were alone in the house, the actor would force himself on her.Though she took back her complaint later, Shiney had slipped into oblivion as far as his career is concerned. Now, however, he is in the news once again.
The latest buzz online is that a biopic is being made, based on the actor’s life. The film, it seems, will be produced by Kumar Mangat. However, a daily said that Kumar Mangat has refuted the rumours. The publication quoted a source as saying that the producer has not yet received Shiney’s nod for making the film. Hence, Kumar Mangat doesn’t want to divulge any details, the source added. Shiney’s last Bollywood outing was Anees Bazmee’s ‘Welcome Back’ (2015).
