The source also told us that actors like Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are in the running and more actors are expected to join the cast of the movie. Currently, Bhansali is completing his magnum opus web series 'Heeramandi', after which he will start works on his next project.
Earlier, reports were rife that SLB is also planning to revive 'Inshallah'. However, this time, he is planning to do the film not with Salman Khan but with Shah Rukh Khan. 'Inshallah' marks a departure for Sanjay Leela Bhansali into the realm of contemporary cinema, where he ventures into the light-hearted genre of romantic comedy, a significant shift from his customary intense period dramas.
According to a report in Pinkvilla, Bhansali has engaged in numerous discussions with Shah Rukh Khan over the past few months, delving into a storyline and character that align seamlessly with SRK's persona. Ongoing negotiations aim to secure SRK's participation in the project, and while he has shown interest, a definitive decision on his involvement is still pending.
