No thumkas for Gauahar Khan in 'Fever'

After setting the dance floor ablaze with her item numbers, Gauahar Khan will surprisingly not perform to any song in her upcoming thriller, 'Fever'. 'Forget dancing, I'm not even lipsyncing to any song either,' she says, adding, 'The film doesn't demand it. It's great that they haven't made me perform to a special or promotional song just because I am a dancer. It would be a nice change for people as they tend to believe that 'Gauahar hai toh dance toh hoga hi'. There are 11 songs in the film and we haven't lip-synced even one, dance toh door ki baat. The songs are situational, so our characters are not required to dance to them.'

Gauahar recently wrapped up the shoot of her next film 'Begum Jaan'. Besides Vidya Balan as the protagonist, Gauhar along with Pallavi Sharda and Priyanka Setia <>will play one of the girls staying in the brothel.Listen to the songs of Gauahar Khan on gaana.com
