No media affair for Anupam's birthday

Kuch Log is a forthcoming film directed by Shuja Ali, starring veteran actors Anupam Kher, Gulshan Grover and Ganesh Venkatraman, Arya Babbar, Rati Agnihotri, Neelima Azeem, Tom Alter, Aarthi Thakur, Razzak Khan, Ravi Jhankal, Bikramjeet Kanwarpal etc.
The film is scheduled for a wrap up in 40 days and will be shot only at real locations in Luckhnow that have never been seen on silver screen before.
On the occasion of Anupam Kher’s birthday on 7th March, producer Sayed Asif Jha had a surprise birthday bash for him in Lucknow. The producer had planned to fly the media to Lucknow on the occasion. Most films are now taking to ‘flying the media to the sets’ strategy for the promotion of their film.
After being talked about for its innovative promotional tactics, the Lucknow press junket has been cancelled now.
Our source close to the film revealed, “Everything was ready but Anupam sort of guessed what this was all about and requested it to be cancelled as he didn’t want this to be a media affair.”
