Udita Goswami, who was last seen in Chase has started shooting for her new film, Diary of a Butterfly. This film, being directed by ad filmmaker Vinod Mukhi, narrates the journey of a girl. “I have myself been maintaining a diary since the last four years, so it’s an interesting co-incidence that I was offered a film where the main protagonist maintains a diary.
I fell in love with both, the title of the film and its script which is very appealing,” Udita says.
On being asked about why she went missing post Chase she says, “I was busy with my shows and appearances as well as my private graduation (BCom) classes. However, the songs picturised on me like Jhalak Dikla Ja (Aksar), Agar Tum Mil Jao and Woh Lamhe Woh Baatein (Zeher) and Laagi Tujh Se Maan Ki Lagan (Paap) are still extremely popular and I keep on performing in shows all over the world.”
Recently, there was the buzz that Udita was planning to get married to director
Mohit Suri. On being asked about this, Udita sternly says, “I want to clarify, once and for all, that yes, I am in a relationship with Mohit but I have no plans of getting married for the next seven years. This is my time to make a career and money, I am too young to even think of marriage. Even if I get a dowry of Rs 10 crore I won’t get married. The rumour of my marriage plan is nothing but only a rumour. I’m here to do good films and I’m very serious about my acting career. In fact, I recently got a new portfolio done.”
