No film is big or small, assures Alia Bhatt

In times of troll toxicity, cynicism, health crisis and nepotism, it’s good to hear of kind gestures and humanity prevailing beyond it all. Mother-to-be Alia Bhatt made a bunch of tv artists happy with her friendly gesture and here’s how.

A known face on TV, actor Sandeep Baswana made his debut as a film director in recent film ‘Haryana’. His cast comprises noted and new faces from tv. Story wise, one of the characters in the film adores Alia. Sandeep thought it was important for Alia to know about this. When informed, the actress sent out a special note to the team, stating she will help them in whatever way possible. Be it facilitating them with her film footages or more.

A crew member told BT, “Sandeep considered it necessary to take permission for the use of Alia's name and her footage in the film as per the usual norm. Sandeep sent a message to Alia directly and asked her to allow her name and footage to be used in the movie.Without any hesitation, Alia reverted and assured her support and guidance to the team as much as she can.”

Alia’s note read, “I feel so flattered. I would love and help and support you in anyway I can, not only because I am an important part of your film. I believe we should all do our bit to support any film big, small, medium doesn’t matter.”
