Sushant Singh Rajput had once shared that Rani Di was like his 'second mom'
Nitu Singh aka Rani Di is the eldest sibling of Sushant Singh Rajput. He referred to her as his mother. He had dedicated a post to Nitu Singh on Mother’s Day in 2016 and shared, “My sister who has been my second mom since I was a kid... Love you my sis for always being there... !!” On Raksha Bandhan, Rani Di had penned a heartfelt note for her brother that translated as, “ It is the first time in 35 years that the puja thal is decorated, the diya is lit, but I cannot perform aarti for you. I cannot tie the rakhi on your wrist. How do I learn to live with you?”

Meetu Singh to Sushant Singh Rajput: I will maintain our sacred bond within my heart
Meetu Singh was one of the first ones from Sushant’s family to reach his Bandra residence on June 14. She also stays in Mumbai and had rushed to her brother’s home on the unfortunate day. According to reports Meetu Singh had stayed with Sushant after Rhea Chakraborty left. On June 12, Meetu Singh also returned to her home and on June 14 she was informed that Sushant Singh Rajput was not opening the door of his room. “The excruciating pain & the void you have left behind is immense and indescribable. My precious brother, my jaan, I still can’t say goodbye. I will maintain our sacred bond within my heart and shall keep it alive till eternity. I will keep laughing and crying on our shared memories, Until we meet again, bhai. You will always be my pride!” Meetu Singh had penned a touching note remembering the late actor.

Sushant Singh Rajput was closest to Priyanka Singh because she understood him
Sushant Singh Rajput had once stated in an interview that he was the closest to his sister Priyanka, who they fondly call Sonu Di. In an old clip shared by Shweta on Instagram, Sushant admits the same, stating that Priyanka gets him and that they think very similarly. Welcoming the CBI takeover of the investigation, Priyanka had posted on Twitter, “Destiny’s Rockstar and my soul friend... it’s most melancholic- the slightest of realisation that you are not there!!!”

Shweta Singh Kirti's Instagram account gives a glimpse of their warm bond
Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister from US, Shweta Singh Kirti, has often posted glimpses of their candid WhatsApp conversations. From sharing nostalgic photos of the actor to posting doting childhood memories – Shweta has showed fans a different side of Sushant, beyond films and Bollywood. She has also been hosting virtual global prayers for the late actor. Along with a picture from the prayer meet of Sushant Singh Rajput, held in Patna, Shweta had shared, “A Final love and positivity filled send-off to my little brother. Hope you always stay happy where ever you are.... we will always love you for eternity.”
