Dubai-based, Indian stand-up comedian, Nitin Mirani, of the famed 'Komic Sutra', one of the most successful comedy shows to be exported out of the U.A.E, returned to Mumbai recently and had his audience in splits with his work.

Stand-up comedy is one serious business. People pay money to just come and laugh, and eliciting laughter from an audience can really be a challenge. But Dubai-based, Indian stand-up comedian, Nitin Mirani, of the famed Komic Sutra, one of the most successful comedy shows to be exported out of the U.A.E, returned to Mumbai recently and had his audience in splits with his work.

Launched in 2009, the show Komic Sutra, has been attracting rave reviews ever since with performances in front of packed audiences in London, Canada, UK, India, The Middle East, Hong Kong and even the Maldives. This Mumbai-born comic is rapidly becoming one of the best-known comedians in Asia and the Middle East, and regularly performs at some of the most prestigious comedy venues around the world, including Jongleurs in London, Caroline’s on Broadway, New York, Yuk Yuks in Toronto Canada and in 2012 enjoyed a successful run at the Edinburgh International Comedy Festival.
Nitin, to date, has performed with some of comedy’s biggest names including opening for comedy legend Eddie Griffin in Dubai for a crowd of almost 3000. After the show Eddie was quoted as saying, “This brother from India brought the house down, watch out for him!”
Other renowned comedians include Maz Jobrani, Max Amini, Ava Vidal, Vidur Kapur, Nemr Abou Nassar, Aron Kader and Dean Obeidallah to name a few.
