Producer Nitin Manmohan, who suffered a massive heart attack on Saturday evening, December 3, is not yet showing any signs of improvement. "We are at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Vashi. Pray for Nitin ji. He is a fighter. Inshallah, he will be alright," Nitin Manmohan's best friend Kaleem Khan (Sanjay Dutt's former secretary) had told us then. Akshaye Khanna was one of the first who reached to see the ailing filmmaker as soon as he got to know from some of his friends in the industry. Akshaye and Nitin Manmohan have worked together in many films, 'Gali Gali Chor Hai', 'Deewangee' and 'Sab Kushal Mangal' to name a few. ETimes was the FIRST to report on both news.

A little while ago, we spoke to Nitin Manmohan's daughter Prachi. Prachi sounded extremely disturbed. She said, "Dad is very critical." When asked if he regained consciousness for any amount of time, Prachi informed, "No, he hasn't." Daddy's condition is practically the same as it was on December 3, she added.

Nitin Manmohan- who has produced several movies like 'Deewangee', 'Bol Radha Bol' and 'Dus' to name just a few- had gone to Panvel to take Ayurvedic treatment of detox, which he has often done in the past. The heart attack happened in Panvel. Suddenly, he started feeling breathless and his wife rushed him to the hospital just in time. He was unconscious as he was being wheeled in and it was felt that he's gone; Mrs Nitin Manmohan told the hospital authorities, 'Revive him anyhow'.

Nitin Manmohan's son Soham, who stays in Dubai, has flown down to India since November 3 and has also been constantly in the hospital by his father's side.
