Nikhil Dwivedi gets real

The actor stars in a film based on Abu Salem and Monica Bedi Gangster films seem to have become all the rage in B-Town.
After Once Upon A Time In Mumbai, Phas Gaye Re Obama, Shor In The City, there’s another project under development. Called Tamanchey and produced by Suryaveer Singh, the film will have characters with striking similarities to underworld don Abu Salem and his one-time girlfriend Monica Bedi.
A runaway gangster film, it will have Nikhil Dwivedi in the lead while the hunt for the female lead is still on. A source reveals, “The story sounds similar to the lives of Abu and Monica. Even though the film will be fictional, the incidents in it are definitely inspired from reality. Proper research has been done to make sure the story looks authentic.” The film will go on floors in the coming weeks and will be shot in the interiors of the country.
