Nidhhi Agerwal who debuted with ‘Munna Michael’ will feature next in the
Telugu film, ‘Savyasachi’ along with
Naga Chaitanya and R Madhavan. She will follow that up with preparations for director
Shree Narayan Singh’s film. The Bengaluru girl, who has now made Mumbai her home, reveals that since childhood she wanted to be a
Hindi film heroine. “I always wanted to be a part of films. While I modelled on the ramp for a short period of time, I wasn’t too keen on featuring in commercials because I wanted to make a splash with my acting debut.
For me modelling was a stepping stone into films” She also revealed that she is a trained ballet dancer. Ask her why she was drawn to ballet and she says, “My mother was the one who encouraged me and she was the one who was responsible for me developing a liking for the dance form.”Talking about her
upcoming films, Nidhhi adds, “Savyasachi’ is an action entertainer and Shree Narayan Singh’s film is a performance oriented role. I am keen on showcasing my acting abilities with this film.” Quiz her on what she looks forward to after a hard day’s work and she reveals, “I have Happy, my dog who I come home to. I have grown up with pets at home and I was very keen on adopting a one in Mumbai as well.”
