Netizens react to Rajkummar Rao and Patralekhaa hosting Joseph Gordon-Levitt: Bro educated us through 500 Days of Summer

Bollywood’s talented actor Rajkummar Rao who is currently basking in the success of ‘Stree 2’ and ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’, along with his wife Patralekhaa hosted the popular Hollywood actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt in Mumbai. The gathering was also joined by the Bollywood stars Farah Khan, Soha Ali Khan, Abhishek Banerjee, Kunal Kemmu, and many others.

Taking to his official Instagram handle, the ‘Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video’ actor shared a collaboration post featuring Rajkummar Rao and wife Patralekhaa with the ‘Inception’ actor. Rajkummar Rao’s note read, “It was truly wonderful meeting you and getting to know you @hitrecordjoe. Keep doing such inspiring work my friend.”

The post was soon flooded with comments from celebs and fans. Director Farah Khan penned a comment that read, ‘Thanks for such a lovely evening u 2.” Another comment read, “500 days of summer is MY FAVORITE movie!!!” A third comment read, “Bro educated us through 500 days of summer," to which netizen replied, "Don Jon is much needed in this era," referring to Joseph's comedy film which also had the Hollywood actress Scarlett Johansson in the lead. Another funny comment read, "Finally satyendra shukla met his competition (summer aur aarti ka the end)." Several other comments poured love on Joseph and Christopher Nolan's mind bending film 'Inception'.

Actress Soha Ali Khan who had attended the gathering, was thrilled to share those special moments from the get-together. Taking to her official Instagram handle, Soha shared a series of pics and penned a note that read, “An evening of fun,food, friendship and cultural exchange where we ended up realising we have so much more in common than we thought .. thank you @patralekhaa and @rajkummar_rao for being the best hosts and just the loveliest people.. it was an absolute pleasure meeting you guys @hitrecordjoe and @jaredgeller and hope to see you again soon!”

On the other hand, Joseph Gordon-Levitt who attended the 14th season of IFP Fest in Mumbai, revealed that he truly loved the movie ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ and compared it to a Martin Scorsese film.
