What is 'Wazir' all about?
Wazir is an action-thriller which includes a lot of emotion. But yes, it also depends on the audience and how they analyse and make up their mind. The film includes love, betrayal, sadness and lots of action. 'Wazir' will make an impact on viewers and they will enjoy the film.

Tell us something about your role in 'Wazir'?
I am playing the character of Wazir in the film. I may have played various negative characters, but the role in the film 'Wazir' is my darkest portrayal yet. Wazir is nothing but dark. He enjoys somebody else's pain and mocks them. I, myself, was quite shocked that I played this character. Wazir is unpredictable. I had to work extremely hard for this. Whether it's his face, voice or look, I had to work extremely hard for this. I hope the audience likes it.

'Wazir' is not being promoted on a very big scale. What's the reason behind it?
Every film has their own charm and there are different strategies to promote the film. In every film, a lot of money and hard work is involved. The audience has appreciated the trailer and loved the song of the film. People are aware that a film called 'Wazir' will hit screens on January 8, 2016.
What attracted you towards 'Wazir,' - its script, direction or the cast?
I would say all of them, this is the second time I am working with Bejoy Nambiar after 'David' and he is too good. Audience will love the story and working with Mr.Bachchan is a dream comes true. I am very happy and excited for 'Wazir'.

How it was working with Amitabh Bachchan?
I am a big fan of Mr Bachchan. I idealise only and only Amit sir. He is my all time favourite and I have grown up watching his film. It's a dream-come-true. When I got to know that my character would be intimidating Amitabh sir's character, I got scared. His name itself is intimidating so trying to intimidate him was not easy at all. I was very nervous but, I did not want my nervousness to affect my performance, so I controlled my heartbeat. An actor's career is not complete, if they have not worked with Bachchan sir.
10 years from now where do you see yourself?
I want to live every moment. Yesterdays are gone and don't think of future... I have faith in the present and I live. My motto is to go where life will be taking me, I will go with the flow... I believe what ever will happen, will be for good.
How was it shooting for 'Wazir'?
Every day is not the same day. On the sets, too, it depended on the nature of work or scene that we are working on. Some days were funny and some days were too serious but Farhan's sense of humour is unbeatable. He can make you laugh any time. You enjoy when you have such a team and I have learnt a lot from them.
What kind of roles are you looking forward to?
My dream role changes every day. I just want to do good work and work harder. I have mostly done roles with grey shades but it's not that I don't want to, or can't play, clean characters. I am open to do romantic stories as well. I get attracted to those characters that are not easy to portray.
