During shooting, in New Zealand, for Players, Neil Nitin Mukesh had broken his finger.
However, his insistence on continuing to shoot has made the injury worse, causing a fracture, of his little finger, on his left hand, in three places.
Doctors have had to insist that Mukesh rest his hand, in a cast, for five weeks.
Mukesh tells us, “I’m not a reckless person. But, one has to be professional and weigh the pros and cons.
When a heap of things fell on my hand, during an action sequence that Allan Amin was directing, in New Zealand and I insisted on doing my own stunts I knew my finger was hurt.

He also tells us that if the fracture does not heal properly, he might require surgery.
