Alia calls Neetu her role model on Kareena Kapoor's Show
The 'Jigra' actress recently appeared on Kareena Kapoor Khan’s chat show What Women Want 5, where she opened up about her family inspirations. When asked about her role model in the Kapoor family, Alia fondly named her mother-in-law, Neetu Kapoor, as someone she deeply admires and looks up to.
The actress shared how her relationship with mother-in-law Neetu Kapoor blossomed naturally over time, becoming even stronger. She recalled a touching moment when Neetu expressed her desire to be present for Alia’s runway walk at Paris Fashion Week. She was touched when her mother-in-law cheered the loudest for her and she felt like it was a moment from her school days when her own mother used to cheer her on.
Alia said, "We’ve built a really natural, organic friendship over the years, and it has deepened over the last six months. When I was walking for L'Oréal, she wanted to be there for the show. She was cheering so loudly, and it felt like I was back in school, with my mom cheering for me."
Bhatt also shared a sweet memory from her wedding day, recalling what her mother-in-law had told her. Neetu said, "You are my daughter-in-law, and I am your mother-in-law, but I had the most beautiful friendship with my own mother-in-law."
Further, Alia shared that Neetu Kapoor spoke fondly of Krishna Raj Kapoor, reminiscing about the special bond they shared. Neetu also expressed her desire to have the same relationship with Alia, describing herself as "really cool and full of positivity and hope."
