Neetu Chandra's 'Mithila Makhaan' wins 'Best Maithili Film' National Award! Stating that the movie, helmed by her brother Nitin Chandra, is an extension of their idea 'the more rooted you are, the more global you will be', the actress-producer, who hails from Bihar, says, 'We're trying to do things that are not only rooted, but also convey a message to the people of India. The movie is about people who migrate from here to other countries and realise the importance of returning to their roots.
