Neerja director to adapt a Dutch series?

Post his biopic Neerja, one hears that Ram Madhavani is possibly gearing up to adapt the Dutch TV series ' Penoza and he is said to have even had a word with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to play the lead in it. Penoza is a story is of a woman, Carmen, whose husband, has been murdered by a member of the mafia. The police promise her justice, but she takes it upon herself to hunt down the killer and protect her three kids.

The director had earlier approached Kajol for the role, but apparently, things did not materialise.
