Miss the days when you would spend hours listening to enchanting stories on the radio and feel like a part of them? Well, here’s some great news! After giving the Indian audience four hit films in five months, Viacom18 Motion Pictures has now joined hands with Neelesh Misra to create and syndicate audio stories and recreate the magic of storytelling. But first, a background on the master storyteller – Neelesh,who hails from Lucknow, has written five books, worked on the lyrics of about 20films including “Jaadu Hai Nasha Hai” (“Jism”) and mostrecently “I Love You” (“Bodyguard”) and “HamkoPyaar Hua” (“Ready”); he has been an award-winning journalist,covering South Asia’s biggest stories – from the Kargil war and thetsunami, to Kashmir and the Naxalite movement, and is a photographer as well.Also penning the script for Salman Khan’s next film, Neelesh is thecreative director, writer and sometimes a singer too with India’s firststorytelling-song band – Band Called Nine. He is also the creator of themuch-loved radio show “Yaadon Ka Idiot Box”.This sort ofstorytelling entails Neelesh weaving engaging stories around a fictional town.Stories that are interwoven with popular songs from Hindi movies. It was thebrilliance of this concept and Neelesh’s talent that caught the eye ofViacom18 Motion Pictures. Through Viacom18, Neelesh’s stories will now beavailable to audiences on radio, online and even on mobile phones aswell.
