Bollywood was a mixed bag of emotions this week. Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s wife Aaliya slammed him with a legal notice seeking divorce, ending their decade long marriage. However on the other hand, love was in the air as Ranbir Kapoor turned stylist for lady love Alia Bhatt and Rana Daggubati got engaged to his longtime girlfriend Miheeka Bajaj. However in an unfortunate incident, a few staff members at Boney Kapoor’s residence tested positive for Covid-19. Here’s taking a look at the top celebrities who hit headlines this week.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui was in the news as his wife Aaliya sent him a legal notice asking for divorce this week. Ending their 10 year long marriage, Aaliya is also seeking the custody of her children. “I have seen his world and have decided to stand for myself. Why should I save his respect when he doesn’t respect anyone. How long will a person suffer? It has been 10 years,” she had shared with Etimes. Nawazuddin Siddiqui is at his hometown Budhana and is yet to respond to the same.

Bollywood’s favourite couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt has been reportedly staying together during lockdown and RK recently turned stylist for his lady love. “Yes I cut my hair AT HOME - thanks to my multitalented loved one who rose to the occasion when I was in need of a chop-chop,” Alia had shared. While fans were still speculating that it was Ranbir, Karan Johar went ahead and confirmed the same during a live chat when he said,“She (Alia) has made Ranbir cut her hair”.

Total of three members from Boney Kapoor’s staff at his Lokhhandwala residence tested positive for Covid-19 this week. "We are taking all the precautionary measures though myself, my children and the other staff at home, none of us are showing any symptoms as of now. BMC and the government authorities have been prompt and very helpful. We will do as told by them," Boney Kapoor had told ETimes, when only one staff member had tested positive.

Rana Dauggubati had recently announced that his longtime girlfriend Miheeka Bajaj had said ‘yes’ to his proposal and this week the couple got engaged in an intimate ceremony in the presence of immediate family. A Roka ritual was also performed which is a tradition followed by Miheeka’s family. Rana and Miheeka’s engagement took place at the memorial of Rana’s grandfather D Ramanaidu in Hyderabad’s Ramanaidu Studios, the families reportedly discussed possible wedding dates too.

Ranvir Shorey landed in controversy this week for stepping out amidst the lockdown. In a series of posts on social media, Ranvir had described that he had moved out to take his house-help to the hospital whose wife was due to delivery. He revealed that his car was being impounded and an FIR being lodged by the police, however in another post Ranvir shared, “After more than 8 hours, we have been let go. No FIR, car not impounded. Thank you, @MumbaiPolice @CPMumbaiPolice for listening, albeit a bit late. I may have lost 8 hours, but not my faith in you.”
