Nawazuddin Siddiqui has been constantly hitting headlines for the turmoil in his personal life. After divorce buzz, his wife Aaliya Siddiqui has now allegedly slammed the actor with a rape complaint. Nawazuddin Siddiqui had recently expressed concern over the education of his children Shora and Yaani, who have returned to India recently. He had said that he wants his kids to return to Dubai and continue their education. Reacting to Nawazuddin's claim, Aaliya’s lawyer had stated, “The Courts will decide the custody of the children as well as all other matters before it. The children in the meantime may continue their studies in India till then. Mr Nawazuddin cannot get full custody merely on the basis of being a provider."

On Friday, Aaliya posted an emotional video on Instagram, stating that Nawaz is trying to steal the kids from her. In the caption she had mentioned about a rape case and said, “A great actor who tried to be a great human being. His heartless mother who calls my innocent child illegitimate and this bad man remains silent- A rape complaint (with proof) has been filed against him at Versova police station yesterday itself. Whatever happens, I will not let my innocent children go in these heartless hands.”

Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s wife Aaliya had filed a case, highlighting the alleged mistreatment at the hands of the actor’s family. Initially she had told ETimes that she was not even given a room to live and access to the kitchen was blocked. But after her kids returned from Dubai, Aaliya was given food and later a room too. Speaking about her condition, advocate Rizwan Siddiquee had told ETimes, "She does not have money for basic food. She is eating from the ration that is being sent for the children." Amid this controversy, Nawazuddin choose to stay at a hotel.

Nawauddin Siddiqui hit headlines after his house help in Dubai recorded a cry for help, Sapna Robin Masih stated that she has been stranded without food and money in the foreign country. Aaliya’s lawyer Rizwaan Siddiquee highlighted the matter and soon the house help returned home. However, Sapna later took a complete U-Turn and apologized to Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Amid pleas of ‘sorry’, the house help stated that she was pressured to say what she did before.
