While talking to a YouTube channel, the 'Gangs of Wasseypur' actor expressed his thoughts on people believing in Astrology, and also shared that he doesn't believe in luck instead he feels that people should use their brains and work harder towards their goal.

When asked him whether he believes in Astrology, he showed his bare arms and said that he doesn't not wear bracelet and rings to bring him any kind of luck. He was further grilled about actors who change the spellings of their names to bring a change in luck, on which Nawaz clarified that they must have some personal agendas and might be feeling insecure or they must be not liking their names.
Professionally, Nawaz was last seen in a few webseries and will be part of films like 'Bole Chudiyan', 'Jogira Sara Ra Ra', 'Sangeen' and 'Heropanti 2'.
