To commemorate 100 years of Indian cinema, the postal authority has issued a stamp with the image of ace cinematographer-filmmaker Ashok Mehta, who passed away on August 15 last year. Known for his work in
Bandit Queen, Utsav and
Paroma, the National Award winner (for
36 Chowringhee Laneand
Moksh, a film he directed) lost the battle to cancer last year.
