Nasa engineer to direct Hindi film

<div class="section1"><div class="Normal">MUMBAI: Nilu Gavankar, an Indian engineer from South Africa, who coincidentally was also the first Indian woman engineer at Nasa, is donning a new role. <br />She is all set to direct a Hindi film called <span style="" font-style:="" italic="">Aankhon Mein Sapne Liye</span>. The film stars Samrat Mukherji and Cleo Issacs in the lead.<br />While late Kishore Kumar''s beautiful wife and former actress Leena Chandavarkar has been roped in to write songs for the film. Not many know that she has been writing songs regularly for her stepson Amit Kumar''s music albums. <br />From space aeronautics to films, it''s been quite a role change for Nilu, while for Leena, she''s set to carry forward the rich legacy of her late husband. </div> </div>
