Money has never influenced Nandita Das's choices, - be it as an actress or a filmmaker. In an interview with Zoom TV, the actress-filmmaker opened up about

, saying that it was never a motivation and attributed this to her parents, who she says never worked for money.

Nandita reportedly admitted that there are days when gets broke, especially after making a film like 'Manto'. And as a single parent, finds it quite challenging to tide through. She's gets flooded with offers for cutting ribbons and other things, which she resists as she says getting used to easy money can be a slippery slope. She just believes in living simply.
