Nana Patekar made a new friend on the sets of Percept Pictures’ Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal, directed by Priyadarshan. The actor turned into a veritable off-screen Dr Dolittle. A kid goat that had been hired for the shoot, followed him on the sets and became his ‘friend’. When not shooting, he even found time to feed it grass. Nana’s pet-friend followed him everywhere, on the sets.
But the most interesting thing was when the two had their own conversations. The goat seemed to understand every word the actor said and would listen and offer its own point of view in short sentences as well.
In fact so touched was the man who arranged the goat for the shoot, that he decided not to charge any rental. No amount of coaxing would help. When it was time for the goat and Nana to part, it was one heart-wrenching moment for the two.
