Nana Patekar to make a comeback

MUMBAI:If Nana Patekar can make a comeback, it will be all thanks to Ramgopal Varma.
The filmmaker has cast the intense Nana in one of his most challenging roles to date. That of a police officer who has killed 56 criminals in encounters.
The film is loosely based on real life cop Daya Shankar who has acquired a phenomenal reputation. In fact Daya Shankar has increased the number of encounters to his credit to 74 since the film was conceptualized.It seems that Verma will have to make some changes in the film as it progresses along.
