CINTAA had sent a notice to
Nana Patekar seeking explanation from his side on the allegations done by
Tanushree Dutta. The committee addressed to the media in the recently held press conference that they will look into this matter at the earliest and action will be taken accordingly. Today, Nana has finally responded to their notice and has called the allegations as 'false' and 'baseless'.
According to ANI, the veteran responded to CINTAA with a detailed note denying all the accusations done against him and called Tanushree’s allegations false and baseless. He also mentioned that he is in the process to take appropriate legal action against Tanushree.
Tanushree Dutta after returning to Mumbai in an interview accused Nana Patekar of harassing her sexually on the sets of '

' (2008). Along with Nana Patekar, Tanushree also filed a police complaint against choreographer
Ganesh Acharya, Rakesh Sarang and Sami Siddiqui who were present on the set back in 2008. Many Bollywood celebs supported Tanushree while some backed Nana Patekar. With Tanushree's accusations, #MeToo movement got a pace in Bollywood and many other female accusers came out in open and shared their #MeToo stories.
