He might not have had the most glamorous of star cast for his film, but his movie Desh Drohi has surely grabbed the eyeballs over the past couple of weeks. ���It has come as a big jolt to me. Not showing in just Mumbai territory will cost me Rs 10 crore. The surprising part is, even when the MNS and Shiv Sena does not have any problems, the government has gone ahead and banned it. However, we have asked Maharashtra CM Vilas Rao Deshmukh to remove the ban, and he has promised to look into the matter. My movie is about unity, about being an Indian first, about not falling into the hands of dirty politics. How will they react if tomorrow a Marathi movie were to recieve such a reception in North India?��� asks Kamal.

���The Bihar CM, Nitish Kumarji has asked me to arrange a special screening for the movie. He is keen to see the movie and we shall arrange for the same. We have got a written request for the same.���

���No, I haven���t had any interaction with him. But I did recieve a call from his legal cell. They wanted to see the movie, so we arranged a special screening for them. They felt that some scenes were a little too strong. My intentions are quite clear, I am not against any party or any particular person. I wanted to make a good movie. Moreover, when the controversy started, my movie was already with the Censor Board for clearance.���
Any Political Ambition?
���None as of now. But yes, if any political party agrees with my point of view and wants me to share a public platform, I shall do so willingly. I was not expecting that the youth will support my cause, and it is heartening to see them backing me on various social networking sites.���
About Rosa���s allegations
���I had an aggrement with her. We paid her the amount due through cheque. Not a single penny was paid in cash. If she still thinks that she is right, the legal system can take action against us.���
