My heart breaks for Mandira’s loss: Mini Mathur

Mandira Bedi’s husband, filmmaker Raj Kaushal, 49, passed away this morning leaving his friends and family in shock. It has been reported that he suffered a cardiac arrest. The heartbreaking news was broken on social media by filmmaker Onir who expressed his grief.

Remembering Raj

, Mini Mathur told Bombay Times, “Raj was a lovely man. He was friendly, happy and full of positivity. I didn’t know him very closely but Mandira is a dear colleague and my heart breaks for her loss. I hope she can can channel some strength from her kids to bear this tragic loss.”

Raj Kaushal has directed films like Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi and Shaadi Ka Laddoo as well several ads. Last year in July, Mandira Bedi and Raj Kaushal had adopted a four-year-old girl, whom they named Tara. The couple also have a son called Vir.
