Ever since the makers of Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani’s Satyaprem Ki Katha announced that they were recreating the global hit Pasoori, the sentiment has generally been negative amongst the audience. Now, music director Rochak Kohli, who has composed the Indian version of the song, mentioned in an interview that even before they got down to recreating the song, everyone from Ali Sethi ( the original composer and singer) to Arijit Singh ( singer of the Indian version ) expected such a reaction because it is like disrupting something that has done really well.

However, Rochak also mentioned that as people are listening to the remake, their reactions are turning positive and they are saying that this isn’t as bad as they had expected. Rochak also added that the song has the approval of the original creators and they made it with honest intentions and the best possible talent. He also added that there were many challenges, but they are happy with the final product.
Earlier, in an old video of Ali Sethi that is now doing the rounds, he mentions that he is a big admirer of Arijit’s singing. Ali had even performed the song Pasoori at Coachella.
