Murder 3 before Raaz

The unexpected positive response to Murder 2, have made producers speed up the process for Murder 3, with Raaz 3 taking a backseat. Although Raaz 3 was to go on floors first, the Bhatts decided to shelf the project.
They have instead turned their focus to the Murder franchise and have asked director Mohit Suri to immediately start working on Murder 3.
Producer Mukesh Bhatt confirmed, “Yes we’re already looking at Murder 3. We hope to release it by summer 2012.”
The pre-production work for the film has already started. The producers have asked Murder 2 writer Shagufta Rafique to start working on the script.
