Mukul Dev's old video with Vindu Dara Singh resurfaces on the internet

Mukul Dev, the phenomenal actor who passed away at the age of 54, had a presence that charmed the screens. The ‘Son of Sardaar’ actor was hospitalized for 8 to 10 days, and on May 23, he took his last breath.

While the entertainment industry mourns the grave loss, the old video posted by Vindu Dara Singh on his Instagram account resurfaced on the internet, making the fans wonder about Dev’s deteriorating health. The clip was recorded from the sets of ‘Son of Sardaar 2,’ where they shared screen presence and impeccable chemistry; however, Mukul Dev can be seen visibly weakened and tangled in sadness.

While the exact reason for the demise has not been revealed, Vindu Dara Singh told ETimes that he battled loneliness and consumed liquor. In the video posted by Singh, they shared a comic dialogue that was related to the film, and then subsequently erupted into laughter.

Vind Dara Singh opens up about Mukul Dev

While speaking to ETimes, Vindhu Dara Singh noted that Dev was close to his family, especially his parents and could not express much about their deaths, keeping the poignant emotions to himself.

“I don't think he was suffering from any disease but he used to drink a lot and would have gutkha. He had become overweight and he battled loneliness. He has a daughter but she is also, she was not staying with him. He was making his comeback with Son of Sardaar but the sad part is he won't be there to see it. It is very tragic news,” Singh added.
