Earlier today, the makers unveiled a poster from the film, and now, dropped a new trailer that is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat.
From what can be figured out from the riveting 2 minute 42 second-long trailer, 'Mukkabaaz' is a love story between Saman Singh (
Vineet Kumar Singh) and Sunaina (
Zoya Hussain) set in a small town of Uttar Pradesh. In the backdrop of this love story is casteism and someone's aspiration to become a super successful boxer.
Jimmy Sheirgill plays the local don and Sunaina's uncle Bhagwan Das Mishra.
'Mukkabaaz', unlike Kashyap's previous films, unfolds a new chapter about love in the time of hate. This new rendition brings together a cocktail mixed with the right amount of punches that keeps you hooked to the story. 'Mukkabaaz' is slated to hit the screens on January 12, 2018.
