According to Pinkvilla, Aziz’s upcoming production is titled ‘Zamana Kya Kahega’. Staying true to his style, the film promises to be a distinctive high-concept situational comedy. This film will be directed by Amit Roy and will feature Taapsee Pannu, Fardeen Khan, and Ammy Virk in lead roles. It will go on floors in September 2025 with a start-to-finish schedule, and release in cinema halls in 2026.


Plot and cast details reveal event-based comedy style


As per reports, the film is a funny situational comedy focusing on three main characters alongside a large supporting cast. Much like ‘Happy Bhaag Jayegi’, this one too is an event-based comedy, where situations pile up one after the other leading to humour. The subject was discussed by Mudassar with Taapsee, Fardeen, and Ammy on the sets of ‘Khel Khel Mein’, and the trio has been on board ever since then.

Mudassar Aziz has penned the script for the film, which will serve as the directorial debut for cinematographer Amit Roy, known for his work on ‘Dunki’, ‘Animal’ and ‘Deva’. The movie is set to be filmed across locations in India and the UK, with the crew having already scouted the sites.
