In a recent interview, the pretty actress was asked whether she was missing acting in television shows and she said that although she enjoyed her stint on TV, films were a priority now. In fact, fans were disappointed not to see her in the second season of ‘Naagin’, which she quit to shoot her film assignments. Mouni said that ‘Naagin’ had become a big brand now and as long as its producer Ekta Kapoor was around, the show would continue to flourish. The actress added that while she missed acting in the show, at this stage in her professional career, she couldn’t afford to allocate almost nine months at a stretch for a TV show. And if she decided to do that, her film commitments would suffer, something that she wasn’t comfortable doing.
Apart from Robbie Grewal’s ‘Romeo Akbar Walter’, which stars John Abraham and Jackie Shroff, Mouni will also be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’ starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjuna Akkineni. She has also been signed on for ‘Bole Chudiyan’ opposite Nawazuddin Siddiqui and ‘Made In China’ opposite Rajkummar Rao.
