Motu Patlu ' King Of Kings', is an alumni of Sir JJ School Of
Arts
. Over the past 16 years, he has worked in some of India's major animation studios, and has also collaborated on a number of internationally acclaimed projects.
His love for his film's protagonists ' Motu and Patlu ' is evident when he compares them to Jai and Veeru, the iconic characters from 'Sholay'. The filmmaker explains, 'Motu and Patlu are Jai and Veeru for me ' one is flamboyant and funny, while the other is laid back and grounded. Yet, they are best friends who fight evil together.' He adds, 'However, Motu-Patlu are more powerful than Hindi film heroes. Since they are animated, they don't require stunt doubles and their capacity is limitless.'
Suhas, who has already begun work on the film's sequel, says, 'Making this film was a dream come true and in the sequel, I'm working on a character with
Amitabh Bachchan's voice-over in mind.'
Releasing in Hindi and Tamil, 'Motu Patlu ' King Of Kings' releases on October 14.
